Picture of the Week – First Week of December 2008
During the latter parts of November I decided to head east on Old Highway 30 towards Hammett and Glenns Ferry. I came upon a big dirt lot between the Old Highway and Interstate 84 that was filled with some type of agricultural products. But to be honest with you, I wasn’t sure what the huge piles were in the lot. I parked my car and got out to investigate what these strange looking things.

Once I got up close I knew what these things were. They turned out to be sugar beets and lots of them.
