Do the Candidates Want an Educated Voter?
Will the primary candidates come to Mountain Home and give us some idea of who they are, what they stand for and why they deserve your vote?  Sure you can dig up information on the internet, get some sound bites on the TV or radio or even look at the political ads in the newspaper.  But is that a good way to make a decision on the people who will be making rules, laws and regulations that will greatly affect you in the next 2-6 years?

The Challenge to Candidates:
Come to Mountain Home at least once before the May 25th, 2010 Primaries.  Maybe drag your opponent with you so "the citizens" (a.k.a – The Voters) can see you, hear you and maybe get an idea of who you are.  I’m not saying you should hold a debate, but let us compare apples and oranges so we can make a semi-educated choice.  I would also think you should come here after normal working hours so most citizens can attend "the event".  It’s the least the following candidates can do before asking us to vote for you.

Before you vote for any candidate on May 25th, 2010, think about it and ask yourself, "do you really know the person you are voting for?"  It’s your responsibility to vote for the person you think will best represent YOUR interests.  The candidates don’t have any responsibility to tell you how they will represent you.  Scarey, ain’t it?
