I attended the Daniel Dopps Rodeo on June 28th, 2008 in Mountain Home and enjoyed it very much. This rodeo was as much fun, if not more fun than any other rodeo I’ve attended in the past.
I was surprised by the big crowd that was there on Saturday night. Not that I was surprised because there were a lot of people there but because the drive into Optimist Park was uncrowded and simple to get into the parking lot. I only had to wait behind two cars to get my ticket and park. The stands were packed so I did a lot of walking around.

I enjoyed the saddle bronc portion of the event the most but the bull riding was also fun to watch.
