Have you ever heard of the “Old Lamberton Canal in Mountain Home? A couple of days ago I was looking at Mountain Home through the eye of Google Earth and I saw a label showing this supposed historical landmark.
You should be seeing a Google Map above.

Then I turned to the above map from Google Maps and see that this canal is actually labeled along it’s entire route. But if you do a search on the internet for Lamberton Canal, nothing enlightening is presented. As a matter of fact, different websites pinpoint this old and maybe historical canal in different places. Some websites place it along Canyon Creek Road and one even places it’s source as a small pond near the Rattle Snake Historic Marker on Highway 20.
Does anyone have any information about the Old Lamberton Canal?
