I was coming back from Yellowstone National Park recently and ran into some pretty heavy traffic on Highway 20 and Interstate 15. Of course heavy traffic is a relative term. I’m not talking about Los Angeles or New York City traffic jams but heavy traffic for “outside of Boise” traffic. Being a newbie to Idaho, I wasn’t aware that the Rexburg/Idaho Falls/Pocatello area was so big and apparently growing rapidly.
I found this article post stating “Most people should not be surprised to see Boise be the 13th fastest growing metro in the U.S. However, what many people don’t necessarily know, is in the new census numbers released last week, Idaho Falls (Bonneville County) is the 15th fastest growing metro”.
This lead me to wondering what are the biggest cities in Idaho. Here are the results.
