Newsflash

Sept 6, 2010: I have updated the Mountain Home Voters Guide to the 2010 General Election. This "sample ballot" for Mountain Home residents now includes the candidates for the Western Elmore County Recreation District. Two local residents have stepped up to the plate and believe they can do a proper job running the WECRD. Hopefully Judy Mayne and Nelson will give us the opportunity to discover what they plan on doing to straighten out the WECRD. Click HERE to download the guide.

Facing Off - The Western Elmore County Recreation District and the Wrecked District Website

WECRD verse Wrecked District Website

A new website has popped up for the people of Mountain Home and Elmore County.  I covered this controversy back in December 2008 and have made my feelings known.  Now, an individual calling him/her self Silence B. Dogood is posting information they find relevant to the long awaited/delayed building of a Family Recreation Center in Mountain Home.

I think it's important the people who are paying taxes to this organization get both sides of the story.  Silence B. Dogood has done some extensive research into some possible unwise use of our tax money.  Read about these problems and don't forget to read the comments made by other readers.  On a side note, I wrote and posted one comment on this website about a week ago but it appears to have been deleted.
